New York City next week

I’m going to be heading to New York City for spring break next week (3/9-3/12). I already have tickets for Jimmy Fallon, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and the View. Currently, I have no Broadway tickets secured but I plan to enter the lotteries and if I don’t win any lotteries; I intended to rush for Sunset Boulevard. Since I’ve already seen Gypsy with Audra, I feel I need to see Sunset with Nicole, as it’s rumored the two will be facing off for the best leading actress Tony this year. Audra’s performance truly moved me and made Rose her own. Traditionally played by white women, this is the first time we have a woman of color leading the show professionally. I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing the show again, since the first time I saw it was opening weekend, so all of the actors were still solidifying their character choices. I’ll keep this blog updated on any shows I see on my trip.
